Currently I've been exploring the process of creating sculptural forms utilizing isomalt and natural inks. This alternative to resin allows for more communication with the environment, the artist, and time. Through a process of taking raw isomalt then cooking down to a liquid form, I shape the material with my hands, molds I've made, or help them explode into infinite paths. They both inform me, and are formed. I'm excited by the various states of being in connection to the impermenant color I blend into them and the elements of the environment, indoors and out.
